    Academic

University of Alabama- Huntsville, Dept. of Chemical Engineering. Professor Krishnan Chittur.

    Commercial

Mechanical engineers at the University of Michigan are using ASCEND as the equation solving component under a heat transfer simulator, heat_lab. Remarkably, they are following the provisions of our GNU License in developing their own software. Three cheers for software reuse through Tcl scripting. We have been collaborating with Michigan researchers and with software engineers at Beige Bag Software.
